I am very pleased to invite to my first big solo show at the Prince House Gallery in Mannheim, Germany.
32 works will be exhibited, including 2 installations.
From the press release:
Internationally acclaimed and exhibited, the award-winning photographer offers a diverse range of themes that recognize the uniqueness of things and their appearances. His works revolve around fundamental issues of existence, from the philosophical view of the surface of things to the enigmatic and sometimes Kafkaesque appearances of the subconscious.
In doing so, they provide an interface between the digital collages and the conceptual art that breaks new ground in contemporary photography.
His work revolves around the seemingly impossible, the unimaginable, as in the work “MOA 1”, in which a building is reduced to its bare geometric form, which rises only as a surreal figure in the sky. These are multi-layered and ambiguous works, such as the series of “Multivisions”, which, when superimposed on multiple views, transforms urban space into a shimmering and intangible whole.
The photographer’s oeuvre also includes themes that seem to come from a distant world and an unknown sphere, such as the “Singularity” skyscrapers detached from any context or the monstrous stumps of the “REM” series, which are only in the subconscious, seem to have their place in a dream world, which makes the photographer the actual topic.
I would be more than happy to see you at the vernissage!
