“State of the Art”

I am very proud to be part of the exhibition “BFF Progressiv” in Zingst, Germany. I am showing my work together with Sabine Scheer, Katja Ruge and Volker Crone.

This is what the organizer says:

“The BFF (The Professional Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Creators) is Germany’s trademark for professional photography and image design at the highest level. Progressive photographs define the overall picture of this extraordinary association, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. This exhibition offers a selection of current artworks, which at the moment can be described as “state of the art”.
The BFF makes it clear that the performance potential of its professional members is far beyond manual photographic standards. Anyone who is admitted to the BFF is guaranteed to be artistically active. The artistic achievements are encountered in everyday life. In advertising, in the picture contributions of important magazines and everywhere, where a high artistic level is visible. For the majority of photographic works, an order situation is the origin of the image formation. Remarkably often these highly qualified photo designers leave the immediate professional background and devote themselves to free pictorial tasks. Then they photograph subjects, things, situations that are personally important to them, based on their own individual requirements.
This area includes the pictures shown in the exhibition.”

Partner of the exhibition is Epson.

Come along if you like, I’ll be there at the vernissage on Wednesday, March 6, 6pm!
