That’s what Diane Young, curator of my category, says:
“I was looking for images which were fresh and original and more importantly ones that make me think, taught me something, told me a story or left me intrigued to know more.
There were so many wonderful images to choose from that it was a joy to judge the categories, although this also made the task of shortlisting extremely difficult…
The series of images which struck me the most gave an insight into a different way of life.”
It was a pleasure and I feel really flattered. Congratulations to all other winners and finalists!

“The Association brings professional photographers together and provides a sense of community that is simply unavailable anywhere else. We promote the highest levels of achievement and we lobby for our members’ interests at all levels.”
